→ Under the premise “THINGS ARE NOT AS THEY ARE. THINGS ARE AS WE SAY THEY ARE”, we replaced the word “homosexual” with “happy” in all news stories about discrimination in Chilean media.
Chile was one of the most backward countries in terms of laws against homosexual discrimination.
On March 28, 2012, Daniel Zamudio died due to a beating inflicted by a group of homophobes, leading to the country’s first sexual anti-discrimination law: The Zamudio Law.
Since that day, various organizations have been fighting for the integration of homosexuals in a country that still discriminates in many ways. The Todo Mejora Foundation wanted to launch a campaign that would shake the nation.
We changed just one word to change an entire reality.
